Holy Cross Church

The Holy Cross Church was a project Synergy Flooring wanted to be involved with due to a long-standing relationship with the Catholic Diocese. Following tendering of the main contract, we were asked to quote for the extensive floor preparation as tenderers had priced extremely closely. Having the experience, knowledge and skills required in floor preparation and levelling to this extent worked to our advantage and we were awarded the contract. The existing 300sqm slab had extremely high moisture content, delaminating surfaces and had collapsed by 45mm over a 30m length. Our team generated and managed the specification; improving the subfloor to meet NZ trade standards in order to accept the new floor coverings. Synergy successfully solved the client’s problem and completed the installation of 300 broadloom metres of carpet and 160sqm of sheet vinyl.
